A Letter from a Mother to a Son

Last week, public speaking class gave me assignment about how to be a good MC, and how to give a good speech. My class was divided into five groups, and each group has different theme. Thankfully, my group had funeral as our theme. Then, we decided to pick a funeral service for Cory Monteith. I had a role as Cory`s mother who gave a speech for his beloved son, so I put a poem that I have made by myself in the last part of my speech. It is just a simple, short poem that I made in a flash :

A Letter from a Mother to a Son

The wind will not give its warmth without your words
The flowers will not release its fragrance without your arms
The world weeps with your departure
And Life is not perfect without you
But I know, God miss you so much
Heaven is not complete without your presence
Go my son, step softly one by one, and don’t look back
Walk with your warm smile, with your beautiful eyes
My little angle, you are a small gift from God
Thank you for living, thank you for holding my hands, thank you for becoming the most beautiful gift in my short life
You will always be an angle of my heart
