It may be a very late post, but I really wanna share this master piece that me and my friends have created in 2014.
Nirv(f)ana was a musical play created by KDST class 2014, students of Sastra Inggris 2011. Every year, students of Sastra Inggris must create a play in order to pass the KDST class. In 2014, I and half students of Sastra Inggris 2011 decided to create a musical play called Nirv(f)ana.
Nirv(f)ana tells a story through dancing and music. It tells a story about Lucas and Evelyn, the two lovers who are passionately in love. However, life is not always as beautiful as they think. Lucas cannot use one of his leg to walk to accompany Evelyn through their life. He is desperate with his life. He really wants to know how to walk, how to run, how to dance with Evelyn, but the reality doesn`t allow him to do so. One day, Lucas finds a robotic tool that can send him into a fantasy world, where he can do whatever he wants. He asks Evelyn to let him go to that fantasy world. He knows that he will leave her behind, but this is something that he really want. In the end, Evelyn sadly allow him to go. In the fantasy world, Lucas finds his own happiness. He can walk, he can run, he can do anything he wants. He also meets many kinds of creature, including the red queen. He falls in love with her, but there is a very big mystery behind the red queen that will make him regret what he has done. Meanwhile, Evelyn is always waiting for him in the real world. Days, months, and years, but Lucas never comes back. What will happen with these two lovers?
